Welcome to CocoLingo! These Terms of Service govern your use of the CocoLingo mobile application and related services.
1. Description of Service
CocoLingo is an AI-powered language learning application that provides:
- Interactive lessons and vocabulary training
- AI conversation practice with voice recognition
- Language learning games and challenges
- Progress tracking and achievement system
- Personalized learning paths
2. Eligibility
Age Requirements
- Users under 13 may use CocoLingo with parental or guardian consent
- Users 13 and older may use CocoLingo independently
- Parents/guardians are responsible for their children's use of the App
3. Subscription & Payments
Free Features
CocoLingo offers limited free features including sample lessons, basic vocabulary practice, and limited AI conversation minutes.

Free Trial
- New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial
- You will be charged after the trial ends unless you cancel
- Only one free trial per Apple ID
Billing & Renewal
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation & Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refund requests must be made through Apple Support
4. User Conduct
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the App
- Share your account with others
- Misuse AI conversation features for inappropriate content
5. Intellectual Property
All content in CocoLingo, including text, graphics, audio, software, AI models, and Coco character designs, is owned by CocoLingo or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
6. AI-Generated Content
CocoLingo uses AI technology to generate conversations and feedback. You understand that:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors
- AI is designed for language learning, not as a substitute for professional advice
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
7. Disclaimers
COCOLINGO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We do not guarantee:
- That you will achieve any particular level of language proficiency
- That the App will meet all your learning needs
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
